This is a horse for all seasons. He has been shown, used under harness, seasoned endurance / competitive trail competitor, and pleasure riding. He moves out in a smooth, natural gait on the trail and will cross anything. His personality is rather mellow, but he is aggressive when headed down the trail, never asking or questioning rider requests. His trainer feels that an advanced beginner to a trail pro would find this horse suitable.
Smokey (AERC # H41899) has competed three endurance competitions for a total of 75 miles. He completed all rides with his first finishing in the middle of the pack and then pulling away to place 6th in the last two competitions. His heart rate recovery is exceptional as well as his rehydration while competing. He is very well mannered during the obligatory vet checks.

Smokey is headed for the hills and forests of Minnesota with his new lady owner. She is excited to have him in time to enjoy riding with her friends on the trails while enjoying the milder days and the colorful fall folage.
